Art at the Landing was a "pop up" gallery first launched in Glenmore Landing Shopping Centre in SW Calgary.  Our model is to operate in different spaces, when fantastic locations become available for short terms. Our short term lease in Glenmore Landing Shopping Centre in SW Calgary came to an end in December 2022.  

New Exhibition Space - 2024 - Bearspaw Golf Club

We are exited to announce a new opportunity and partnership with Bearspaw Golf Club!  Now at Bearspaw you will find a collection of primarily large scale art by the Art at the Landing artists Brenda Banda Johnson, Terri Heinrichs, Gerardo Carsolio and Cynthia Makara.

This stunning new clubhouse is the perfect venue to feature original fine art - you'll see our work throughout the building - entry way, halls, dining room & lounge, banquet room and locker areas.  Head on over for a tour anytime during regular business hours, or book a viewing appointment outside of business hours:

10:00-4:00 Tuesday - Saturday in the off-season (Oct.16-April 30) 
8:00 - 8:00 Monday - Sunday in golf season (May 1-Oct.15)

  This is a great spot to grab lunch or a beverage if you are so inclined during golf season, and if you're a golfer, maybe a tee time? With Stoney Trail North now open, you'll be surprised at how quickly accessible our new location is!

And yes, the featured artwork is all available for purchase.

The in-between. In art, without the in-between, there would be no recognizable image.  I paint with deliberate attention to shapes of space.  It highlights the subject (often trees), and the light or landscape around it.  Thick, luscious oil paint is intentionally laid over a contrasting background color, with hints of the gold shining through.   Through the layers of my art, I’m celebrating the beautiful complexity of life.
